CUSTOM PREVIEW TAPES

If you would like to view any of the clips from this site on DVD, time-coded VHS, 3/4", or NTSC media, you can contact us by phone or fax or email us a list of selected shots

PRICING FOR CUSTOM PREVIEW TAPES

You may order a preview tape of shots for $25 per tape. Additional tapes will be billed in $25 increments. Shipping is your responsibility and is not included in the above price.

SUBJECT PREVIEW TAPES

Pre-edited compilations of popular subjects are available. Subjects include puffy clouds, storm clouds, sunset/sunrise, night skies, landscapes, cityscapes, etc. The cost is $25 per tape.

CLEAN DIGITAL MASTERS

Once you have chosen your shots, you can then order a clean digital master tape or files. Masters will not have visible timecode, and will be transferred digitally to a format of your choice (e.g., Digi-Beta, Beta SP, HD-Cam, D5, DVCPro, QuickTime etc.) These broadcast quality masters will be shipped only upon signing of a License Agreement and receipt of payment.

LICENSE FEES

For license fees contact Blue Sky directly for prices on licensing footage. License fees vary depending on how footage will be used. For an explanation, see Using the Site, Traditionally Licensed Footage.

License fees are charged per second of usage, with a 10-second minimum per cut. For broadcast usage you must indicate where the footage will be broadcast, and for how long a term it will run.

LAB FEES

Once the cost of licensing a shot has been determined based on usage, there is an additional lab cost for duplicating the clip onto a sub-master. Lab costs vary with format and number of clips ordered.

Approximate additional lab costs for masters are as follows:

SHIPPING INFO

For shipping we prefer to use FedEx shipping. We request a FedEx account number or a credit card number to include on the airbill. The length to ship will be followed according to your directions. FedEx ground, economy, 2nd day, priority next day AM or PM and Saturday deliveries are all options available.

If international shipments are needed they are your responsibility and will also be sent via FedEx when available and will vary in price depending on the location.
