Blue Sky Stock Footage will do custom shots to your specifications. We offer full production services, from shooting a simple element, to producing your entire spot.

Can't find the shots you need as existing footage? Give us a calI. In many cases, the cost of shooting is comparable to licensing.

We shoot on film or digital video, with an option of Zeiss lenses, and do Plate shots.

Timelapse cinematography (short or long-term), as well as real-time and slow motion
Motion control pans and tilts. Our motion control system is field portable, making it ideal for remote locations

OWNER/CINEMATOGRAPHER BILL MITCHELL

Bill Mitchell has been shooting and making films since he was twelve, when he won his first award for an animated short made with a Super 8 and cardboard cutouts. Later, while a film student at Loyola Marymount, he won an Academy Award for his experimental, non-verbal timelapse piece, "Zebu."

Today, Bill is highly sought after as a Director of Photography for commercials, features, and TV, and his stock images have been seen in countless productions. He is considered an expert in the field of timelapse, though his shooting style spans an array techniques.

Bill still finds time to travel the world shooting fresh, new stock images - searching out unique blends of light, space and time.
